Security Director

About the role

The Security Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the overall security strategy for the organization. This includes safeguarding the company's assets, ensuring the safety of employees and visitors, and protecting the organization’s physical and digital infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• —Lead and manage the security team, including security officers, investigators, and coordinators.
• —Perform regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
• —Develop and update security plans, procedures, and protocols for all aspects of the organization.
• —Oversee the response to security incidents, including breaches, accidents, or criminal activities.
• —Lead crisis management initiatives, including emergency response and continuity plans.
• —Stay up to date with relevant legal and regulatory changes affecting security protocols.

Requirements

• —Bachelor’s degree in military science or security management.
• —Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in security management.
• —Previous experience in the North Coast is required.
• —Proficiency in security management software and systems (e.g., surveillance, alarm,).
