About the role
We are looking for a Senior AR Accountant to join our Finance team and oversee accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, check transactions, and financial records. The role will ensure the accuracy of financial data, timely resolution of discrepancies, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies, while supporting reporting and audit requirements. Experience within a Real Estate Development company is essential.
Responsibilities
- —Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- —Prepare reports on outstanding and bounced checks and financial updates.
- —Reconcile bank statements with SAP/SAM records.
- —Process and reconcile GL transactions and ensure accurate system entries.
- —Manage check transactions, including collections, discounting, and bounced checks.
- —Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies and accounting standards.
- —Support audits and financial statement preparation.
- —Collaborate with internal departments to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Requirements
- —Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.
- —3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounting, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- —Proficiency in SAP and Oracle is a must.
- —Previous experience in a Real Estate Development company is a must.
